Integrating Hydroponics into the Agricultural
Curriculum While Promoting Entrepreneurial Skills

ABSTRACT

In Northeast Thailand, dependence on agricultural productivity and geographical conditions contribute to underdevelopment and poverty. These factors can be alleviated by alternative farming techniques such as hydroponics. The goal of our project was to design and construct a hydroponic system for the MSU Demonstration School that can be integrated into the agricultural curriculum while introducing business skills.

This report includes recommendations for our sponsor, the MSU SIFE team, to assess the operation and educational use of the hydroponic system.
